I believe that there are a handful of cities that every American should experience (New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Washington D.C. and New Orleans). For sure there are many other wonderful cities to visit but in the U.S. I believe that these are the 5 most memorable, and for my money New Orleans may be right at the top
